We’re looking for: 

A paraprofessional, student, or individual who is passionate about helping children and/or young adults with developmental differences 

·      Two years minimum of undergraduate work or completed AA in fields related to Psychology,  Education, Child Development, etc. 

·      At least one year of experience working one-on-one with children and/or adolescents 

·      A high level of dedication and can commit to 8-10 hours per week for at least 6 months 

·      The desire to make a difference in the lives of the people you serve and have fun doing it!

What you will do as a Developmental Autism Specialist: 

·      Work one-on-one with children and/or young adults with autism by providing developmental therapy (We will teach you!) 

·      Commute to and from clients’ homes (up to 20 miles) 

·      Attend team meetings (Duration: ongoing throughout employment) 

·      Play and have fun! 



·      Two years minimum of undergraduate work or completed AA in fields related to Psychology,  Education, Child Development, etc. 

·      Previous experience working with children for at least one year 

·      Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months to a client schedule 

·      Reliable transportation/valid driver’s license 

·      Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., get up and down from the floor easily, and actively play with children 

·      Bilingual (not required but applicable)
