Salary based on experience
Duties include but not limited to:
Performing preventative maintenance and general repairs on tractor and trailer units to DOT standards
Complete all needed repairs keeping quality, safety, and expediency at the forefront
Be a diagnostic technician and trouble shooter Requirements / Qualifications:
Be able to pass a drug test and have a good driving record
Be able to identify, diagnose and resolve tractor and trailer related issues
Be able to diagnose and repair trailer components
Be able to perform preventative maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment
Must have the knowledge and ability to prioritize job tasks
Must be able to work independently
Support teamwork by participating, cooperating and communicating with co-workers
Technical school certification or advanced degree in diesel engines, electronics, and or related field
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in medium to heavy duty truck repair
Have effective time management techniques and have the ability to prioritize and multi task without negativity
Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing
Cummins, Detroit and CAT Experience a plus. All truck or engine certifications a plus
Work is considered heavy physical work requiring the exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
